FASHWIRE

Fashwire is a global platform for the contemporary fashion industry. Launched in 2018, Fashwire began as a marketplace for emerging and established brands from around the world. A source of global fashion intelligence, today Fashwire is a B2B data hub for its brand partners to navigate consumer demand and increase profitability. The Fashwire platform connects over 300 brands from more than 30 countries directly to consumers, delivering a truly unique shopping experience by improving fashion discovery and awareness by using AI to personalize the customer experience based on known preferences.

The partnership with the CFDA was founded by creating a fundraising campaign called FashGive, to support their effort with A Common Thread Covid-19 relief fund.

By donating $1 for every download, Fashwire was able to donate thousands to the fund. This idea grew, and with a secured partnership (Shay’s connection with a board member) with the newly formed Retailers United organization, Fashwire will be streaming a global fundraiser to raise funds for the distribution of PPE to healthcare works through Retailers United. This was announced with an article in WWD on April 20, 2020.

Along with her industry connections and vision on how to grow B2B initiatives for a brand, we have brought on international partnerships with the Italian, UK, and Canadian government fashion counsels that have resulted in sales for the onboarded brands and growth in users for the global market for the app. These alignments are ongoing and have shown an increase in revenue for the company by growing the app’s downloads, esp. in emerging markets, and as well as growth in potential investor awareness and inquiries.

In working with a start-up, Shay has her hands in all areas of the business, so she has input in digital marketing initiatives and user acquisition strategies. Shay was vital in launching the FashRewards style contest that has lead to significant increases in user engagement on the in-app social feed My Wire. As Fashwire continues to grow, new partnerships are in the works.
