In a collaboration with Nicholas Ferroni, Teacher and Advocate, THE ASG GROUP partnered with the TRUNK CLUB to give 10 deserving teachers from Union County NJ a day to remember for May’s “Teacher Appreciation Week”.
The shoot was held at the TRUNK CLUB’s gorgeous clubhouse at the Palace Hotel in NYC. We felt TRUNK CLUB would be the perfect retail partner for this project since they offer the best brands in Men's and Women's fashion with the best stylists in the business. Each teacher was given their own stylist and they both enjoyed working to find the best look! We gave them a day to have a full makeover, photoshoot, and then topped it off with a lunch at Rockefeller Center Brasserie.
TRUNK CLUB styled each teacher from head to toe and the hair/makeup artists were former students. The photographer, Juan Cespedes, and videographer were also a former Union students. The photoshoot was in the gorgeous new designer room by Zahery Prell and then in the music haven of John Varvato’s room. The day went off without a hitch and each teacher looked amazing!
Nicholas Ferroni is known for his advocacy for equal rights for women, minorities and the LGBT community. He was also People Magazine’s “Sexist Teacher Alive” 2014. The ASG Group is very proud to have brought this project to TRUNK CLUB as appreciating teachers is very close to our hearts.
