In 2021, Shay became the founding Director of the new Fashion Trust US. FTUS's mission is to give grants to emerging designers. It is backed by Google and many other sponsors who make it possible to support the design community.
Shay set up all operations, created partnership modeling, and led website development and social media, which resulted in $1.5M in funding for the 2023 awards.
Shay continues to support the vital work of FTUS in strategic partnerships and spreading awareness.
To help drive the initiative and assemble a strong group of patrons and donors, the Fashion Trust U.S. is guided under the leadership of Tania Fares, Carlos Nazario, Laura Brown, Karla Welch, Maha Dakhil, and Cameron Silver.
